Lesson 6.

I realised that I’m really bad with remembering names after the test. I hope I did okay! I dont’ want to retake any modules! My mom would probably slaughter me and my dad would probably give me the now-your-mom-is-going-to-nag-at-me-to-get-a-job face.

We exchanged our stories to edit. MAN! So embarrassing! I wrote my story based on my mom’s friend’s experience.

Why are some guys such bastards?

I hope they get skinned alive!

We watched 3 Feet Apart this time. The storyline’s really cool. Out of the world. XD Extremely random too!

I heard that Bu Ye Tian is quite good? Can we watch it too?

Lesson 5.

Writing a true story is so much easier than having to think of a false one. I think I’d post mine up later.

I’ve always thought that life stories make the best stories. Sometimes things that people think only would happen in stories, they actually happen in real life too. It’s freaking awesome. That’s why they say life is like a story.

Man, I guessed cookie’s true/false story wrongly! >_>

Lesson 4.

I would agree that action is more important than dialouge. Especially in a movie. I think if the whole movie is plainly based on dialouge, I’d die from boredom too.

We watched the Keanu Reeves show. It was actually pretty interesting though it was just plain running. It must be really hard to film that. >_> I really like the scenes of the neighbourhood. It has the really down to earth feeling I guess.

*points to Charis’s reflection* Why did you quit piano!? I actually volunteered to learn piano. LOL. Oh well, they say that every chinese kid knows at least one instrument.

And the Sunat film, it was really cute! It’s cool how they can manage to keep an audience’s attention fully on their film.

I want to do that too.

Lesson Three.

Lesson Three was kinda cool cause we write on people we observed. It was stalkerish too cause we were noting down people’s names, addresses and phone number. I hope that the person I wrote about would never come to my site! I mean, Amelia googles her own name!

And so to write a good story, we have to put ourselves into our characters shoes. To make it more realistic? Ohhh man! I hope I can do it well!

I hope that I actually write good stories. TT__TT I think I have low self esteem nowadays.

Oh, I meant that my other blog entry would be counted as a reflection not as in not writing another reflection. >_<

Lesson Two.

Last lesson we went through our openings and I realized that mine sucked big time cause I didn’t grasp the true meaning of a real opening. An opening should be simple and sweet and able to intrigue a reader to reading more.

Oh well.

It’s not as if I can change my work now. Shall try harder next time then.

Anyway, we wrote stories out of these openings. It kinda sucks that all I can think of are stories that are really what the heck. I need to keep stupid thoughts to myself.

And we watched two films. The Ah ma one was kinda cliché but Cookie was like tearing beside me. I guess I was too absorbed in –cough- .

So I was hoping that my last entry would be able to replace a reflection cause I seriously hate writing reflections! I don’t reflect! Maybe that’s why I’m like that now. >_> I tend to forget really easily.

Shall go to school then post this up tomorrow.

I live in a world of fiction.

Somehow, I think that this extends to me too. Minus the dog part! I swear I’m not a bitch! I’m really nice! Ohoh! I read from somewhere that people with Blood Type B are bitchy! It is true you know. My stupid brother is a self confessed bitch. My sis too! I’m an O so I’m nice! (heh)

Anyway, I love drowning myself in novels. I’d always imagine myself as the lead character. One of my friends doesn’t like reading novels especially if she doesn’t like the lead character. But I like to understand and “feel” the character. I’m those kind of people who would still think about the story even after I’ve finished the book, movie or drama.

Oh well. I’m one of those EMO people from what I learnt from CATS class. I’m the only one like that in my family. My siblings and parents love laughing at my reaction to movies. Oh, my mom hated how when I was a kid, I screamed nonstop when watching Jurassic Park and crying when watching Casper, she resolved never to bring me to the movies ever again.

Anyway, I think I live my live more in the fictional world than the real one.

I need to get a life.

It’s called To My Boyfriend by Guiyeoni, my favourite novel from her to date. I read this a few months back and finished a box of tissues! I recommended it to my other friends and they were crying a river too! *Sigh* Eunhyung. <3 There are actually side stories but they haven’t finish translating it yet. I think I’m going to get the chinese version of this book! Anyway, some readers hate the female lead saying that she’s a bitch and all, but I can actually understand why she did whatever she had done and why her mind wandered. The story’s really sad. I hope nobody makes it’s into a movie cause I want to be the one who does it! =D

Lesson One.

When I heard about storyboarding, I was a little scared cause ideas don’t just pop out of nowhere! I haven’t written anything since O levels! And all I read nowadays are internet novels, gossip magazines, PEANUTS and Calvin and Hobbes.

As I read internet novels, there are bound to be really good stories and really bad ones. For the good ones, the authors can really describe in detail. As part of the emo-group people, I tend to get emotional really quickly! I’d always wondered how some writers can make me happy/sad/cry/scream etc when I’m only reading. My stupid brother thinks that I’m mad. And so! I’ve got to get a little insight from this lesson. There’s a particular way to write that makes people want to know more and get really interested in the story.

Even though I’ve never thought of being an author, being able to write well would be an advantage. Maybe I’d even start writing my own internet novel one day and be like Guiyeoni who had her books published and movies shot. HAHA! She’s my lastest favourite writer! And she’s only 5 years older than me! And she has 3 movies already!

I wonder how much she’s earning…
